Original vintage music advertising poster - Queen Innuendo new album out now - featuring a colourised lithograph by the French illustrator and caricaturist Jean Ignace Isidore Gerard (Grandville; 1803-1847) from his 1844 collection Un Autre Monde / Another World depicting a clown with flowing blonde hair and moustache wearing a red and white striped suit, juggling colourful planets with Earth in his front pouch and a banana falling on a man standing on one of the globes in the foreground, the text above and below. One of the biggest and most successful rock bands in the world, the British group Queen was formed in 1970 by Freddie Mercury (Farrokh Bulsara; 1946-1991), Brian May (b. 1947) and Roger Taylor (b. 1949), with John Deacon (b. 1951); Innuendo was their 14th studio album. Large size. Fair condition, staining, foxing, creasing, tears, paper losses, pinholes.

What is a lithograph?

Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography. 

Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
