Original vintage advertising poster for a Provincial Exhibition of Decorative and Industrial Arts / Exposition Provinciale d'arts decoratifs et industriels held on 13-29 June 1924 in Brussels at the Galerie Georges Giroux featuring an illustration by the Belgian painter Armand Massonet (1892-1979) depicting a man in a long white robe holding papers under his arm with vases, books and a decorated plate on the sides, set against a black background with a decorative swirling yellow and black frame border and the stylised text in black lettering below in French and Dutch. Fair condition, restored folds, staining, creasing, restored tears, minor paper losses, pinholes, backed on linen.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
