Original vintage poster featuring great sixties psychedelic artwork by the notable graphic designer Milton Glaser (1929-2020) depicting a black silhouette of the award winning influential American musician Bob Dylan (Robert Allen Zimmerman; b.1941) with colourful swirling lines above and the title in bold block stylised lettering below. This iconic design was apparently inspired by inspired by a self portrait of the painter Marcel Duchamp (1887-1968), and commissioned as an insert for positive publicity for Dylan's Greatest Hits album following the false rumours of his death after his motorcycle accident in 1966. Good condition, fold lines, restored, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?

Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography. 

Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
