Original vintage exhibition poster advertising a show by the notable artist and designer Erte (Romain de Tirtoff; 1892-1990) at the Galerie Proscenium 35 Rue de Seine Paris in November and December featuring the iconic Art Deco style theatre costume design by Erte entitled Symphony in Black of a fashionably dressed lady wearing an elegant off the shoulder dress with three feathered fur scarves from one arm wrapped around the other and a matching decorative headdress, holding a greyhound dog on a lead above Erte written in the artist's illustrative alphabet letters. Printed in England at The Curwen Press London. Excellent condition, light creasing.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.

Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
