[ON RESERVE PENDING PAYMENT] Original vintage advertising poster for an art book by the German-Australian photographer Helmut Newton (Helmut Neustadter; 1920-2004) showcasing his black and white fashion and celebrity portrait photography featuring the book's first edition cover of a nude lady wearing heeled shoes with the title in blue across her body and between her legs - Helmet Newton Taschen. This was the first book in the experimental project book series Sumo by the Taschen publishing house (founded 1980), weighing 35.4kg. The cover photograph taken by Newton in 1980 titled Big Nude III is of the American model and Playboy magazine Playmate of the Month in March 1980, Henriette Allais (b 1954), who posed for Newton's Big Nudes series in 1980-1981. Very large size. Excellent condition, poster wrapped around metal bars on top and bottom edge, string for hanging on top edge.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
