Original vintage newspaper advertising poster for the Moscow News Published weekly to give you a wide range of first-hand information from the USSR - featuring the bold red and black text with a stylised M in the shape of two people reading the newspaper while walking, a photograph of the city over the Moscow river with cars on the embankment road and the Moscow Kremlin towers lit up against the night sky below. Co-founded in 1930 by the American journalist Anna Louise Strong (1885-1970) the Moscow News was the first English language newspaper in Russia and was later published in other languages to spread communist news internationally under the approval of Stalin's leadership; the paper shifted its focus from communism during the 1980s under Gorbachov's period of Perestroika to become an influential independent newspaper before finally ceasing publication in 2014. Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
