Original vintage movie poster for the 1984 re-release of the classic science fiction Fritz Lang film Metropolis - "Academy Award winner Giorgio Moroder presents Fritz Lang's classic vision of the future, now beautifully restored and with a contemporary musical score." This sci-fi movie was first released in 1927, directed by German director Fritz Lang and starring Gustav Frohlich, Brigitte Helm and Alfred Abel. Great design depicting the female robot character from the film in the famous golden silhouette against a deep blue background with the title above in the stylised red letters of the original classic title, the rest of the text above and below in white and red letters. Litho in U.S.A. Very good condition, faint creases in margins.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
