Original vintage London Underground travel advertising poster - The West End by Tube The Criterion Brasserie by Celia Lyttleton One of a series of new paintings commissioned by London Underground Nearest station Piccadilly Circus - featuring a great artwork showing the ornate interior of the historic Criterion restaurant complex (opened 1873) depicting people dining in the Long Bar below the colourful and decorative gold mosaic ceiling with marble arcades, columns and arches. Large size. Very good condition, minor creasing, minor staining.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
