Concorde British Airways
Original vintage advertising poster for Concorde British Airways featuring an iconic photograph of a Concorde plane taking off from a runway with the Concorde text and logo above and the British Airways text and logo below. Operating flights from 1976-2003 primarily for Air France and British Airways on their transatlantic routes, the Concorde British-French turbojet powered supersonic passenger airliner had a maximum speed over twice the speed of sound (London to New York took just under 3.5 hours rather than 8 hours) and could carry 100 passengers; British Airways Concorde made just under 50,000 flights and flew over 2.5m passengers. FAQs
More information about our posters and service.
Are your posters originals?
All our antique and vintage posters, books, maps and prints listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity.
What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
