Original vintage movie poster for the popular American science fiction film presented by Steven Spielberg Back to the Future directed by Robert Zemeckis and starring Michael J. Fox as the teenager Marty McFly who travels back to 1955 with Christopher Lloyd as the eccentric scientist Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown, inventor of the time-travelling DeLorean car that brings him back to 1985. Iconic design by the American movie poster artist and illustrator Drew Struzan (b. 1947) featuring Marty looking at his watch with one foot inside the DeLorean DMC-12 time machine over flaming fire tyre tracks, the stylised title text above with the text on the side reading: He's the only kid ever to get into trouble before he was born. “Coming early this December” is written across the top of the poster and a yellow banner appears in the bottom right with a film review by Jonathan King from The Sun newspaper. Horizontal. Good condition, restored folds, restored creases in margins, yellow banner is stuck over the top of the poster and has come unstuck slightly, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?
All our antique and vintage posters, books, maps and prints listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity.
What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
