Original vintage Marvel comic book advertising poster featuring the fictional superhero Thor created by the writer and editor Stan Lee (b 1922) and designed by the comic book artist Jack Kirby (1917-1994). Based on the Norse mythological god of thunder - Thor - this dynamic image features the cartoon character in his blue outfit with yellow boots, yellow T winged belt and red cape with a winged helmet spinning his enchanted hammer Mjolnir that gives him the ability of flight and weather manipulation. Good condition, faint folds and creases, pinhole on bottom right corner.

Are your posters originals?
All our antique and vintage posters, books, maps and prints listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity.
What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
