Original vintage music poster for the Pink Floyd album The Dark Side of the Moon featuring a variation of the iconic album cover art depicting a simple and bold design of light refracting from a triangular dispersive glass prism forming a rainbow as the colours of the visible spectrum against a black background, before hitting another prism and reverting back, created by the British graphic design group Hipgnosis (1968-1983) founded by Storm Thorgerson (1944-2013) and Aubrey Powell (b 1946), who worked on many Pink Floyd and other famous rock band and music album art of the period. The influential English rock band Pink Floyd was formed in 1965; this album was released in 1973 and became one of the greatest and best selling albums of all time. Horizontal. Good condition, restored creasing on image, restored tears, restored paper loss on top right corner, minor staining, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
