The French actor and comedian Jean Richard (1921-2001) started his first circus in 1957, launching the successful Cirque Jean Richard in 1969 and buying the Cirque Pinder in 1971 to form the largest circus in France (sold in 1983). Formed in 1967, the Osler del Canes performed with Pinder-Jean Richard from 1974-1977; their group included the notable aerialist and triple-somersaulter Freddy Osler (Frederick Weppenaar). Horizontal. Good condition, folds, minor creasing, small tears.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
