Original vintage film poster for the 1967 American romantic comedy drama The Graduate released in the UK in 1968, directed by Mike Nichols (Academy Award winner) and written by Buck Henry and Calder Willingham based on the 1963 book by Charles Webb about a young graduate Benjamin Braddock (played by Dustin Hoffman) who is seduced by an older lady Mrs Robinson (played by Anne Bancroft) but then falls in love with her daughter Elaine (played by Katharine Ross), with music by Simon and Garfunkel. Great design depicting the iconic scene from the film when Benjamin is being seduced by Mrs Robinson putting on a pair of stockings with the title text, credits, Oscar nomination text and tagline - This is Benjamin He's a little worried about his future - against the black background. Printed in England by Lonsdale & Bartholomew Ltd. Horizontal. Excellent condition, light folds from when issued, backed on linen.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
