Original vintage advertising poster for a 50 Jahre Sowjet Kunst / 50 Years of Soviet Art series of events held at the Kommaklub under the patronage of the Mayor of the City of Munich featuring a black and white image of Vladimir Lenin leaning forward on a construction stand with large lettering Пролетарии / Proletarians and a red star above him, the title text in bold red lettering with the shadow below and list of events on both sides including a week of Soviet films from 1927: Oktober / October (Ten Days That Shook the World) by Sergei Eisenstein to 1966: Die Letzten Briefe / The Last Letters by Harry Stojtschew and Sahwa Kulisch shown from 20 to 28 January with discussion sessions, and literature, singing and music performances on 18 and 19 January 1967. Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?

Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography. 

Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
