Richmond is the ideal centre for exploring Swaledale and is reached by modern diesel trains from the East Coast Mainline at Darlington. Located in the Yorkshire Dales Richmond Castle is one of Britain's finest Norman castles built after the Norman Conquest from 1071; the castle was used during World War One by the northern Non-Combatant Corps and is now a Scheduled Monument popular with tourists. Published by British Railways North Eastern Region and printed in Great Britain by Stafford & Co Ltd, Nottingham. Fair condition, tears on edges, pinholes, and several paper losses.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
