Original vintage advertising poster promoting two Volkswagen car models -VW-Kombi and VW Variant - featuring a design by Victor Mundorff (1897-1973) depicting two people in a station wagon with a man in a white coat and a man in a suit loading boxes at the back of the car in front of a red Kombi / Campervan showing a man at the open side door and two workers loading goods into the back, set on a bold blue background with the VW logo in white below. The Volkswagen Variant is the estate version of the Type 3 Squareback / station wagon produced from 1962. The configurations of the Type 2 Camper included the Kombi (Kombinationskraftwagen / combination motor vehicle), equipped with side doors, windows and removable rear seating to function as both a passenger and a cargo vehicle. Horizontal. Large size. Very good condition, creasing, tears.

What is a lithograph?

Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
