Artwork by the notable American comics artist Carmine Michael Infantino (1925-2013). An iconic and popular superhero character, Batman was created by Bob Kane (artist) and Bill Finger (writer); he first appeared in issue 27 of Detective Comics in 1939 published by DC Comics and he continues to appear in radio and TV shows, movies and games. Printed by G & F Posters NYC official licensees Copyright National Periodical Publications Inc 1966. Excellent condition, restored minor creases and small tears on margins, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
