Original vintage advertising poster for a music concert featuring The Chris Barber Jazzband with sensational blues singer Ottilie Patterson at the Dusseldorf Apollo Theatre on 10 May 1958. Great design depicting an image of the Northern Irish blues singer Anna Ottilie Patterson (1932-2011) and the English jazz musician and band leader Donald Christopher Barber (1930-2021) below a trombone with the bold white title in the centre, the rest of the text and event information in black against the red and black background. Horizontal. Good condition, creasing, small tears, paper loss in the bottom right corner.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
