Original vintage poster for The Lone Ranger television series featuring the fictional Western character played by the American actor Clayton Moore (1914-1999) wearing his iconic blue cowboy costume with a red neck scarf, white hat and gloves, black eye mask and boots, pointing two guns towards the viewer. The television series (1949-1957) followed The Lone Ranger, a masked former Texas Ranger, with his Native American friend Tonto on their missions to catch outlaws in the Old West; Clayton Moore also played the character in two movies The Lone Ranger (1956) and The Lone Ranger and the Lost City of Gold (1958). Large size. Good condition, restored folds, restored tears, small restored paper losses, staining, backed on linen.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
