Original vintage advertising poster for an exhibition of Neue Metall-möbel / New Metal Furniture at the Zurich Kunstgewerbemuseum / Museum of Design in Zurich from 27 September to 31 October 1958 presenting furniture design work by the Swiss designers Hans Eichenberger (b 1926), Robert Haussmann (b 1931) and Kurt Thut (1931-2011) from the Swiss Design group that was formed in 1958 with Teo Jakob (1923-2000) and Peter Haussmann. Fantastic image featuring cropped monochrome photographs by the Swiss photographer and graphic designer Alfred Hablutzel (b 1931) of modern chairs and a table desk with the title text in bold red letters above and the exhibition information below. Printed in Switzerland by J.C. Müller, Zürich. Good condition, folds in top and right margins, creases and pinholes in corners.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.

Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
