Original vintage advertising poster for a Soviet circus performance - Night of Wonderful Dreams - a show based on The Golden Key / The Adventures of Pinocchio fairy tale by the notable Russian writer Aleksey Tolstoy (1883-1945), featuring a great design depicting a man in a cockerel / rooster costume on a crescent moon against the night sky with stylised stars in the background, a little mouse by the bold title text in stylised lettering with a wise owl sitting on a clock tower above a golden key on the side, the nose of the wooden puppet Buratino being touched by a girl in a bonnet hat next to two performers dressed as a horse walking towards them. Good condition, folds, tears, creasing, staining.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
