Founded in 1938 Messerschmitt was a German aircraft manufacturing company that was not allowed to manufacture aircraft during the period after World War Two; after merging in 1968 to become Messerschmitt-Bolkow and other mergers, the company became part of Deutsche Aerospace DASA, now part of Airbus (since 1989). FAQs

More information about our posters and service.

Are your posters originals?

All our antique and vintage posters, books, maps and prints listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity.

What is a lithograph?

Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.

Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
