Original vintage Danish movie poster for a World War Two film Angels One Five starring Jack Hawkins, Michael Denison and Dulcie Gray, about workers at a British air base who find themselves in the thick of the action as their pilots fight incoming German planes. Colourful image depicting a British Royal Air Force pilot in uniform looking up to four planes in the sky, the title of the film (in Danish: Deres Storste Time) at the side in white letters along with a quote from Winston Churchill: Never was so much owed by so many to so few. Film produced by Templar in association with British-Pathe Ltd. Poster printed by Rasmussen & Nilsson, Copenhagen. Fair condition, minor paper loss near the title, folded as issued, minor tears and faint creases in margins.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
