Original vintage movie poster for the French release of the black and white film noir mystery film set in New York - The Big Clock / La Grande Horloge - directed by John Farrow, adapted by Jonathan Latimer from the book by Kenneth Fearing about a magazine tycoon who frames an innocent person for a murder he committed, starring Ray Milland, Charles Laughton, Maureen O'Sullivan, Elsa Lanchester and Harry Morgan. Dynamic illustration by Boris Grinsson (1907-1999) showing a clock over the guilty man's face looking sideways at the framed man standing by the dead body of a lady in a red dress with the title of the film in bold yellow against the red background, birds flying at the top next to the clock with the Paramount logo below the credit text. Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
