Original vintage advertising poster - Non Plussed! BP Plussed - featuring a fun and colourful stylised fox hunting illustration by George Bissill (1896-1973) depicting a man and a lady riding horses with a pack of dogs during a fox hunt on a green field in the English countryside, the dogs and hunters looking down for the fox who is laughing at them sitting on a truck on the back of a speeding black classic car marked with the number plate OK 111, the text and BP logo lettering above and below. Founded in 1909, BP (British Petroleum) is now one of the world's leading oil and gas companies. Large size, horizontal. c1930s. Good condition, restored paper loss in bottom left corner, restored tears, staining on margin, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
