Household Aga Kitchen Stove Waasia
Original vintage advertising poster for a Waasia household oven stove produced by the Val Waas machine factory featuring a dynamic illustration of a surprised looking devil in red admiring a cooker with rays of yellow and white light surrounding it, set against a dark background with the logo above and bold stylised text in red and blue lettering below. Founded in 1864 as Valentin Waas in Geisenheim Germany the factory manufactured fruit and vegetable processing devices, wine presses and bottle storage; during WWI the company started to produce portable bread ovens and became one of the leading manufacturers by the 1950s but, with new conservation processes orders for their fruit and vegetable processors decreased and the company closed in 1964. Printed by Plakatfabrik Scheuer, Frankfurt. Good condition, tears, small paper loss on margin, minor staining.

FAQs
More information about our posters and service.
Are your posters originals?
All our antique and vintage posters, books, maps and prints listed on our website are guaranteed originals as detailed in their photographs and descriptions, and include a certificate of authenticity.
What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
