[ON RESERVE PENDING PAYMENT] Original vintage advertising poster for the publication of books by Alfred Kroner Verlag Leipzig - Billige Ausgaben Friedrich Nietzsche / Affordable Editions Friedrich Nietzsche - featuring a black and white charcoal drawing of the notable German philosopher, cultural critic, composer and poet Friedrich Nietzsche (1844-1900) with the Art Deco style lettering above and below. The Alfred Kroner Verlag / publishing house was founded in Stuttgart Germany in 1904; the company moved to Leipzig in 1907 for a short time until the 1930s, and is now based back in Stuttgart. Excellent condition, minor creasing.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?

Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.

With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography. 

Where do you deliver to?

We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.

Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.

Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
