G. Stansfield & Co are instructed by the Ravenscar Estate Limited to offer for Sale by Auction on the Estate at 1:30 o'clock - Building sites of various sizes suitable for the erection of shops, marine villas, and lodging houses / including a large hotel site and being located near the Ravenscar railway station (1885-1965), the Raven Hall Hotel (the 1540 Peak House farm built on a Roman ruin that was redeveloped and opened as a hotel in 1895 with a golf course) and Boarding House now open with sea views from the cliffs and luncheon provided at the place of sale - with a scenic illustration entitled View of Robin Hood's Bay from the Terraces of Ravenscar of the seaside town in the centre featuring sailing boats at sea and hills in the distance, the town and cliffs running along a sandy beach and people enjoying a walk at the Peak in the foreground. Large size. Fair condition, restored folds and paper losses, staining, backed on linen.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
