Original antique advertising poster for a Beaux Arts Exposition Municipale Geneve / Fine Arts Exhibition Geneva held at Batiment Electoral building from 25 August to 25 September 1906 featuring beautiful artwork by Otto Vautier (1863-1919) depicting a lady holding a leaf branch leaning on the tiller of a boat with her sheer dress flowing up behind her, a building visible in the distance on the other side of the water with the bold stylised above and over the image, the venue and dates with the logo in red below. Printed by Affiches Artistiques Geneva. Good condition, large restored tears, restored paper losses, staining, backed on linen.

What is a lithograph?
Most of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves drawing a reverse image of each colour onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, I believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £35 for orders placed via our website.
