Original antique advertising poster issued in Belgium to promote a Russian brand of cigarettes KaceBek / Папирос Касе-Бек manufactured in Imperial Russia before the 1917 October Revolution by Nakhimoff & Co. Great design featuring a hand tipping open a pack of cigarettes on a blue background with an Imperial double headed eagle coat of arms above and the text in red and white stylised lettering below. Horizontal. Good condition, restored folds, restored paper loss, restored creasing, restored tears, staining, foxing, backed on linen.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
