Original antique advertising poster in German promoting an exhibition of French Art held in the city of Krefeld in North Rhine-Westphalia Germany from 28 May to 21 July 1907. Great Art Nouveau artwork by the graphic artist Theophile Alexandre Steinlen (1859-1923) depicting an elegant young lady holding a pink flower with the text below in stylised letters. Printed in France by Imp. Eugene Verneau, Paris. Very good condition, restored folds, backed on linen.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
