Theatinerstrasse 32" by the notable German graphic artist Ludwig Hohlwein (1874-1949). Great artwork featuring a smiling maid in a black and white uniform with two young children, the girl wearing a white dress with a blue waist ribbon and the boy wearing a smart brown suit with long boots and holding a small dog on a lead, the text below in stylised white letters. Printed in Germany by G.m.b.H. (G. Schuh & Cie), Munchen. Very good condition, cracks and creases.

Are your posters originals?

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.
Can I visit your gallery?
Yes. Our gallery is based in London. Our address is 404 King's Road, Chelsea, London SW10 0LJ.
Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
