Original antique advertising poster in Russian Франко Русская выставка for a Franco-Russian exhibition of artisan arts and crafts / handicrafts held at Solyanoy Gorodok (Salt Town) St Petersburg in February-March 1899. Fantastic Art Nouveau style artwork featuring a young lady carrying a flag with a red cross next to the stylised title text in black and blue letters against a gold background above and the rest of the text below. Good condition, repaired tears, folds and creases, light stains, backed on paper.

What is a lithograph?
Practically all of the posters found on our website are lithographs. This is a method of printing that involves carving each colour of the image onto a piece of stone. The poster sheet is then imprinted consecutively with a stone slab for each colour, creating a stunning and rich image.
With the exception of silk printing, we believe that other printing techniques do not deliver the same impact of colour as lithography.
Where do you deliver to?
We ship posters worldwide rolled in shock-resistant and hard wearing tubes. Unless specified otherwise, delivery is free within the UK and standard international delivery is £25 for orders placed via our website.

Our opening hours are Monday-Friday 10am-6pm; Saturday 11am-5pm (by appointment only on Sundays and bank holidays*).
