Bold, colourful and humorous, Polish posters are well known for their unique creative interpretations and eye-catching designs developed from the 1890s through the 20th century. During the Golden Age of the Polish School of Posters from the 1950s-1980s, many notable professional artists were commissioned by film studios to create posters for new film releases in Poland. These powerful images and inventive designs still leave an impression today [click the images for more information]:
