Original vintage travel advertising poster published by LNER - the London and North Eastern Railway of England and Scotland - promoting the spa town of Harrogate in Yorkshire. Fantastic illustration depicting a smiling young lady wearing horse riding clothes and holding a whip in front of smartly dressed people enjoying the sunshine in the park in front of the Harrogate Royal Baths building, including a lady holding a yellow umbrella behind a man riding a horse with a couple reading a newspaper under trees, the text below in stylised red and brown letters. Artwork by Joseph Greenup (1891-1946). Printed in Great Britain by Waterlow & Sons, London and Dunstable. Good condition, restored minor loss, staining and tape marks, backed on linen.
