Original vintage Soviet movie poster for a black and white film Tashkent City of Bread scripted by Tarkovsky's collaborator Andrei Konchalovsky about a young boy who travels to the Uzbekistan capital to earn money for his hungry family (filmed during a period of relative political calm, the director Shukhrat Abbasov depicted the poverty and famine that resulted from the Bolshevik Revolution). Great artwork depicting a soldier sitting at the back of a last train carriage with with two young boys on the side and the title and text on the right. Fair condition, folds, small tears, small losses on fold lines, creases.
