LT Rehabilitation London Underground WWII Station Repairs


Rare original vintage poster issued by London Underground "Rehabilitation 23 railway stations, 15 bus garages and 12 trolleybus and tram depots had direct hits or suffered severe damage from enemy action. Replacements and repairs are in hand - but It Takes Time" one of a series published after the end of World War Two by London Transport across the London train, tram, bus and underground networks. Great artwork by Fred Taylor (1875-1963) showing workers repairing the pavement and windows and putting back the London Transport roundel signs at the entrance to a station with the text above and below. Printed in England by The Baynard Press. Very good condition, restored folds, small pinholes and tears, backed on linen.
