LT Rehabilitation London Underground WWII Anti Blast Walls
Rare original vintage poster issued by London Underground "Rehabilitation For the protection of passengers 137 anti-blast walls were placed at the entrances to 75 stations. These walls are being demolished as quickly as possible - but It Takes Time" one of a series published after the end of World War Two by London Transport across the London train, tram, bus and underground networks. Great artwork by Fred Taylor (1875-1963) showing workers demolishing an anti-blast wall outside the entrance of an underground tube station with a red London bus passing by in the background, the text above and below. Printed in England by The Baynard Press. Very good condition, restored folds, small pinholes and tears, backed on linen.
